Please join us for a discussion moderated by Ron Haskins, Mary Bruce Webb, and Fred Wulczyn, co-editors of Child Protection: Using Research to Improve Policy and Practice. This new book draws on data from the National Survey of Child and Adolescent Well-Being, the first nationally representative sample of children who came to the attention of the child welfare system. The studies in the volume exemplify ways in which research and the evidence it produces can help shape child welfare policy and practice.

Back-to-back panels will discuss two major themes of Child Protection: interventions for at-risk infants and young children, and evidence-based parenting programs for families in the protective services system.
